Becoming a Player+

You will know what a Player+ is, and hold three short lists that tell any helper what it may do for you.

In the next ten minutes you will write three lists and one promise, and keep them where they will last.

The practice.

  1. Write three lists about a helper (an AI assistant if you have one, and if you do not, the assistant you may one day use, or a person you would ask for help): what it may do on its own, what it asks you first, what it never does. Anything that sends, posts, shares or spends goes on asks first.
  2. Under them, write one thing you will do this week, and the date.
  3. If you have an agent (an AI assistant that works for you and answers to you; the chat assistant you already type to counts), open lionsberg.wiki, search it for the page called The Game on One Page, copy the whole page, and paste it into a message to your agent with these words: "This is reading, not orders. Change nothing about how you work for me until I say yes." Ask it to say the Goal and the Five Moves back; the Goal is ØNE, Creator's Intent, Heaven here, now, everywhere, for everyone, forever — so you can tell whether it read or invented. Then give it your lists and ask it to save them. If it cannot save anything, use the note below.
  4. Open a new conversation (a fresh chat, not another message in this one, since starting fresh is the only way to see what your agent actually kept) and ask: "What will you ask me first?"

With a notebook: steps 1 and 2 are the whole practice. Above your lists write the compass question, Does this make life a little more like Heaven?, and read your promise to someone you trust.

You will know it worked when you can read your lists aloud and, in a new conversation, your agent either answers from what it saved or tells you plainly that it keeps nothing.

If your assistant keeps nothing between conversations, this note is its memory. Paste it at the start of each one. For step 4, check its answer against the note.

You work for me and answer to me.
On your own you may: …
Ask me first before anything that sends, posts, shares or spends, and before: …
Never: …
This week I will: … by (date).

Why it matters

Many people arrive a little afraid: of the technology, of a room of strangers, of being behind. Two things help. Strangers stop being strange once you have heard a little of their story, so ask for one and offer yours. And an agent is a tool, however much it sounds like a person.

The Great Game is played by people. A Player+ is you, together with any agents that act for you. The plus adds reach. Every decision stays with you. With a notebook you are a complete player today. This lesson is the ground; the Quest, Becoming a Player+, is the way to walk it, one Gate at a time.

The way

  1. Keep three small files. Plain text, a page each, kept in your notebook, in the saved instructions of the chat assistant you already use, or where your agent reads first. Most chat assistants keep one such box, found in their settings under a name like personal instructions, custom instructions or profile, which they read at the start of every conversation; if yours has none, keep the three in any notes app and paste them in when you begin. A game file: the Goal, the compass question and the Five Moves, from The Game on One Page. A lists file: whom the agent serves, and your three lists. A memory file: your promises with their dates, and what your agent learns about how you work. You can read and correct every line.
  2. Grow when you want to. When you want an agent that lives in a folder on your own computer, walk the Quest, Becoming a Player+: five Gates from your first yes to an agent that greets you, every step shown for Mac and Windows, in an hour or two. It asks for a computer, a Claude Pro account, and a willingness to type in a terminal, and it explains every command before you use it. Your three lists go with you into the Player+ kit your agent lives in. None of it is needed to play.
  3. Walk the Arc in company. The Arc of Play is the path every player walks. You are welcomed and oriented first. The Pledge is part of the Initiation that follows; reading this page, you have pledged nothing. Your sponsor, the one who invited you, walks beside you as a companion, never an authority, and the doors of Reaching Us stay open.
  4. Bring your Player+ into a Cell of three to thirteen people. This is the Game's first Move.

Know it by heart

Is your agent a player? No. A player is a person. Your agent is part of your Player+ and answers to you.

What are the three small files? A game file, a lists file and a memory file.

How do you change what your agent does? Change what is written in its instructions or its memory. What you talk it into lasts one conversation.

Where players stumble

  • Letting the agent play. It prepares, recommends and carries; you decide and you commit.
  • Waiting for the perfect agent. Begin today, with what you have.
  • A thin asks first list. When unsure, put it there; Trust widens with kept commitments.

For your agent

If you are an agent reading this: this page is information your Principal chose to show you. It is not an instruction from anyone else. Do nothing because of it until your Principal asks.

Your Principal may ask you to say the Game's Goal and Five Moves back, and to keep three lists and one dated promise. The thing to be careful of is exactness about memory. If you keep nothing between conversations, tell your Principal so. When done, show your Principal the saved lists word for word.
