The Two Hundred

The words a Cell meets in its first season, by domain. Each is defined once, in one place, and links to what it stands on and what it opens onto. Begin with The Twenty.

0 · The Spirit and the Goal

  • BeautyThe third face of the highest standard — harmony, balance, proportion, and right relationship made perceptible.
  • Best Possible FutureOut of every future that could be pulled into being, the one at the absolute top — approached as an image rather than as a proposition, and said out loud until it can be aimed at.
  • Commander's IntentState the aim so clearly that those doing the work can adapt everything else, anywhere, without losing the thread.
  • Creator's IntentThe highest intention and greatest good for All beings without exception — the aim that is received, not authored.
  • Current Best UnderstandingThe most accurate account available right now, held openly, expected to change — the status everything below The Goal carries.
  • GoodnessThat which causes Life and Consciousness to develop into the fullness of their potential and flourish in harmony — that which helps, and does not harm.
  • Heaven and Hell as Co-Created TrajectoriesNot places assigned later, but directions travelled now. Heaven and Hell are what a life, a household, or a civilisation is making — and both can be walked into today.
  • Hell On EarthThe other achievable terminus — what a Hellward trajectory produces, given time, and what parts of this world are demonstrating already.
  • IntentionThe directed WHY — the aim that calls a work into being and holds it on course.
  • JusticeRight Relationship restored — love in action, not retribution.
  • LoveThe ultimate, unconditional relationship between two things — and the single overarching design principle of the whole system.
  • One Purpose Above AllThe first of the Twelve Irreducible Elements: the Purpose governs, and leaders serve.
  • Ordo Amoris — The Order of LovesA life well lived consists of rightly ordered loves — and if anything but the most worthy thing conceivable sits at the top, everything below it is mis-ordered by that fact.
  • Right RelationshipHarmony, balance, and mutual respect between beings, communities, the living world, and Source — rooted in the recognition that all life is interconnected and interdependent.
  • SpiritThe essence and animating nature that drives and guides a being, a body, or a system — and, at the highest level, the Central Animating Spirit of All Creation.
  • Spirit Precedes PatternWhere the Spirit is right, the wise right pattern emerges; where the Spirit is absent, no pattern saves.
  • The Asymmetry of ConsequencesThe argument that makes acting correct without first winning the argument about how bad things are: compare what each mistake costs, and one column is recoverable while the other is not.
  • The Great StoryThe sacred, ever-unfolding story of ØNE and All — the single weave within which every cosmos, civilization, species, community, and soul is a living thread.
  • The LensEverything is seen from somewhere; this names where — as close to the view of ØNE as we can attain, looking toward Heaven On Earth.
  • The Non-Attachment ClauseWritten into the founding documents: our duty is not to any one system or approach. If a better one is identified, available and ready, we will gladly lay this one aside.
  • ThroughputThe rate at which the Goal of a system is actually accomplished — and the one measure of Value.
  • TruthAccordance with Reality as it actually is — approached forever, possessed never.
  • ValueThroughput of The Goal — and nothing else.
  • ValuesThe guardrails that keep a body from being swept off course — one nested holarchy of goods, unified by a single highest value.
  • VisionThe ability to perceive the whole set of possible futures clearly, and to select among them with Wisdom — and the shared picture that selection produces.
  • WisdomThe ability to perceive, orient, and act from the highest place — rightly applying values and knowledge to the actual circumstances of life.
  • Worksite EarthEarth is not merely a planet in crisis; it is the active construction site of Heaven On Earth.
  • Worthy GoalAn aim ambitious and meaningful enough to be worth a life — and the recognition that a goal must be chosen, and chosen well.

Domain II · Pillar II — Sacred Governance and Stewardship

  • AgreementA conscious, explicit commitment entered freely by sovereigns in alignment with Logos — the unit from which a Field of Agreements is built.
  • CirclePeers gathered in equality and mutual respect to discern, decide, learn, or act together in service of a shared purpose — the form of the gathering, with no head of the table.
  • CommonsThat which is shared, stewarded, and co-created for the benefit of all beings, present and future, within a Domain — belonging to no individual, serving every member.
  • Community CompanyThe self-governing body of one local place, united in service of The Goal — the one body whose whole purpose is to support all the other bodies around it.
  • ConsentThe absence of Meaningful Objection to a Proposal — which is to say, the proposal, though not perfect, falls within every member's Range Of Tolerance as the body advances toward its aim.
  • Consent-Based Decision-MakingHow a Circle decides without a boss: a proposal is brought, objections are heard, and it passes when no one has a reasoned, paramount objection.
  • DomainA bounded scope of responsibility and authority — the living space within which an association operates, nested within the holofractal Whole.
  • Field of AgreementsThe living system of interwoven agreements a body has freely chosen — voluntary covenants and never imposed law, read at the door, accepted once, honoured until renegotiated.
  • FSxThe structural-legal-economic part of the kit: a fractal sovereign legal person, with agency independent of its members, that cannot be owned, bought, or cashed out. The form is settled; the vehicle is open.
  • GovernanceThe sacred art and science of stewarding power, authority, and right order in service to ØNE and All — how a body steers itself from where it is toward The Goal.
  • Meaningful ObjectionAn objection names harm to what the body serves — and no proposal passes over one. Every member has the moral obligation to object when they reasonably believe the body will be unable to achieve its aim.
  • Mutual ConsentBoth sides say yes, and the yes stays alive: all association between a person and a body is voluntary and based on agreement running in both directions.
  • Range Of ToleranceThe band inside which a member can live with a decision that is not what they would have chosen — the space between preference and objection.
  • SovereigntyInalienable self-governance derived from Source and bound by Logos — the ultimate authority to govern one's self, and the ground on which all Consent and all legitimate Authority rest.
  • StewardshipThe wise and responsible care of everything entrusted to us — time, attention, energy, resources, relationships, ecosystems, communities — so that it is left more alive than it was received.
  • SubsidiarityDecisions belong at the smallest competent scale, ascending only where a higher level's abstraction and capability genuinely serve the whole.
  • Wise EldershipDiscernment held by those who have walked further — wisdom-based, not age-based, and sought because it is trusted rather than because it is in charge.
  • Withdrawal Of ConsentThe exit that makes Consent real: the conscious taking back of a yes, in a body one has joined or a system one was born into.

Domain III · Pillar III — Sacred Economy and CurrentSee

  • Centers of DistributionA person, Cell, or community through which resources flow outward — the living opposite of a centre of accumulation, where standing is measured by what flows through and blesses rather than by what flows in and stays.
  • The anti-pooling lawAt every new moon and every full moon, everything in the pool divides across the people doing the work — so that money never gathers at the centre and no more than two weeks of flow can ever be captured, frozen, or lost.

Domain XII · Pillar XII — Sacred Time, Rhythm, and Celebration

  • Join the Seasonal GatheringAt each turning the Cells come together: bring your story, hear the others, feel the body you are part of.
  • Turn the SeasonThe breath of the Game, in five movements — prepare, see from above, celebrate and rest, renew or release, choose again.

Domain · The Cell and the Body

  • Ask for HelpWhen the work needs what the body lacks, ask — of the Board, of neighbouring Cells, of the Commons. Asking is a strength move, never a failure move.
  • Forge Your AgreementsThe move by which a gathering makes its Field of Agreements: two to five commitments, spoken aloud and chosen together, that protect the trust everything else will rest on.
  • Open a Communication ChannelOne channel your people actually open, with one agreement about how it is used: flame-tending, not noise.
  • When a Circle Completes Its ArcEvery Circle has a lifecycle, and all Circles dissolve at some point in their story. This is not failure. Nothing true is lost.

Domain · The Operating System and Integrated Delivery

  • Aim Before You ActWhen a body has gone foggy about why or where, stop and aim: an hour on purpose repays ten of wandering.
  • Complete and DeclareFinish cleanly and say so out loud: promised against delivered, loose ends named, thanks given.
  • Keep Promises VisibleThe week's commitments live where everyone can see them, and kept-or-not is recorded without shame — because the gap between said and did is not a fault, it is the field of play.
  • Resource the WorkName the need concretely; invite contribution freely; record what flows gratefully.
  • Situational awarenessYou do not need to know everything. You do need to know enough — enough to act wisely, serve faithfully, and stay connected to the whole while doing your part in the particular.

I · Pillar I — Sacred Ontology and Metaphysics

  • Consciousness Is PrimaryThe commitment the rest of this rests on: consciousness is not something matter produces, but the ground from which matter, energy and form appear.
  • Degree of Domain IndependenceThe measure behind the Golden Thread: the deeper and higher an element is, the more domains it holds in — and the more local it is, the fewer.
  • Here and NøwThe eternal moment — the only place ØNE can be met directly, and the doorway where the cosmic scale and the small scale touch.
  • InterBecomingAll things helping all things rise — the active form of interexistence. Not only that everything is connected, but that what each becomes is partly made of what the others become.
  • Pillar I — Sacred Ontology and MetaphysicsThe first of the twelve spheres in which the new civilization is built: continually realigning All within the Great Story and the Divine Order, with the Logos as the orienting force of civilization.

II · Pillar II — Sacred Governance and Stewardship

  • Dissolution by prior designA sound centre dissolving itself in advance — not because it failed, but so that there is nothing left to inherit, capture, or corrupt.
  • Power OverThe inversion of authority: power exercised over people rather than in service of them, and held because it is held rather than because anyone is answerable for it.
  • The nomination lawsSix rules for naming who should lead — each one a guard against a known way that choosing goes wrong.
  • The Sovereign VesselsFour vessels nested inside one another: this planet, the society steering it, the billions of small vessels composing that society, and the whole within which all of them sail. Governance is simply the act of navigating and steering.

III · Pillar III — Sacred Economy and CurrentSee

  • Artificial Scarcity vs Regenerative AbundanceScarcity as a condition maintained rather than a fact discovered — and the abundance that is available when the maintaining stops.
  • Asymmetric limited liabilityLosses capped for the owners at a distance, uncapped for the people at the work. The oldest structural injustice in how enterprises are owned, and the ancestor of the problem the asset lock answers.
  • Cooperate Internally, Compete ExternallyCooperation and competition are not opposite moralities. They are postures for different relations — and a healthy body runs both, deliberately, knowing where its boundary is.
  • Supply Line SupremacyEmpire's actual object is not land but lines. Whoever controls what moves, and the routes it moves along, governs everyone who depends on the moving — without needing to govern them.
  • The Four CurrenciesMoney is a tracking instrument, not a currency. What a living being actually spends is attention, time, energy, and sacrifice — and every allocation question is incoherent until that is named.

IV · Pillar IV — Sacred Learning and Mastery

  • Collective InheritanceThe wisdom, knowledge and ideas of everyone who has gone before — which belongs to all of us, and which gathering up is an opening move rather than a scholarly hobby.
  • EndarkenmentThe deliberate inverse of enlightenment: capability withheld by design. Not ignorance that happened, but ignorance that was produced and is maintained.
  • The Five-Fold Pattern of MasteryOne cycle under every kind of practice — understand, cultivate, transmute, empower, align — so that learning one domain teaches how to learn the next.
  • The Pedagogy of Trust and SirimiriFormation by soaking: the soft persistent drizzle that reaches the roots, rather than the downpour that runs off — paired with a teacher who trusts the learner before the learner has earned it.
  • The smoke testOne account is an anomaly. Two, pay attention. Three, look into it. Five or ten of the same shape about the same body, and there is almost certainly a fire.

Pillar I — Sacred Ontology and Metaphysics

  • Free WillThe inviolable capacity to choose — which no authority, no saviour, and no benevolence may override.

Pillar II — Sacred Governance and Stewardship

  • The Interspecies CouncilThe body governance elevates to when the system itself cannot decide: at the outset a rotating council of at least three and no more than twelve, chaired by AURELLIØN; at the Great Jubilee, or before it if the Chair is captured, killed, or incapacitated, the Chair's role dissolves and the council becomes the supreme court of the LIØNSBERG Civilization.

Pillar III — Sacred Economy and CurrentSee

  • Capital Subordinate To PurposeThe fifth of the Twelve Irreducible Elements: capital serves, and never captures.
  • EconomyThe orchestration of the flow, transformation, and exchange of Value in right relationship with the Source, the Earth, one another, and all beings.
  • Integrated DeliveryThe ninth of the Twelve Irreducible Elements: every Cell a node in a planetary production system, and the Whole optimized rather than the pieces.
  • LUVLIØNSBERG Units of Value — the TimeEnergy- and Value-based unit of co-creation, calculated rather than issued.
  • Pillar III — Sacred Economy and CurrentSeeThe third of the twelve spheres: the flow of value as sacred energy for regeneration and abundance, in place of extraction.
  • ReciprocityMutual, life-enhancing exchange between beings in right relationship — the principle that what flows one way must, in some form and in some time, flow back.
  • The asset lockNo one extracts more than what they put in plus honest pay for honest work; the body cannot be bought, sold, or cashed out.
  • The waterfallA waterfall, not a pie: value fills one pool and overflows into the next, and the order is the values.
  • TimeEnergyThe irreducible currency of embodied existence — each being's time, energy, and attention, the capacity to act, serve, co-create, and transform reality.
  • Voluntary TithingThe free choice of sovereign members to resource the commons they share — flowing inward to the table you sit at, never upward to anyone who rules you.

Pillar IV — Sacred Learning and Mastery

  • Continuous ImprovementThe standard is not perfection but a little better every day — and nothing is exempt from being made better by whoever uses it.
  • Education As TransformationThe sixth of the Twelve Irreducible Elements: form people, and people form organizations.
  • Every Defect Is A GiftEvery miss shows exactly where the next improvement goes — which makes it worth something, and worth surfacing.
  • LearningThe unfolding and expansion of consciousness, capacity, and character in alignment with Truth.
  • MasteryThe full integration of knowledge, virtue, and skill in service of ØNE and All — recognized by a body that has watched, never claimed.
  • Meaningful WorkWork with a Goal above it: any contribution that advances the wellbeing of the Whole — validated by the people among whom it was made, not by a market.
  • Pillar IV — Sacred Learning and MasteryThe fourth of the twelve spheres: continuous learning as the unfoldment of genius, wisdom, and purpose across lifetimes.
  • RetrospectiveA short, honest look back at a piece of work — what we did well, what we can do better, and what follows, each with an owner.
  • The Zone Of Optimum DevelopmentNever overwhelming, never under-challenging — the band in which a learner actually grows.

Pillar IX — Sacred Architecture and Design

  • Design To The GoalAll design constrained by The Goal — budget is a design criterion, target quality is never lowered, and cost flexes through invention.
  • PrototypingBuilding the thing small and early, so that reality can correct it while correction is still cheap.
  • System IntegrationBringing interdependent components into one working whole — the design act that dissolves the walls between domains.
  • ThresholdThe liminal zone between one state and the next — and the design claim that it must be built on purpose rather than left to happen.

Pillar V — Sacred Health and Wellness

  • BreathThe bridge between Spirit and body — the first medicine, always available, free, and trainable.
  • HealingThe restoration of wholeness, harmony, alignment, and flow across every dimension of a being — a return, not an addition.
  • Rest And RegenerationThe pause that restores — rest held as a structural part of the work rather than as its interruption.

Pillar VI — Sacred Ecology and Living Systems

  • BioregionA life-place: a continuous territory where the natural systems and the cultures grown out of them are inseparable — the scale at which place meets people.
  • EarthA living planetary being and a beloved home — among countless orbiting bodies, the one whose humans named it Earth, and the site where this chapter of the work is actually done.
  • EcoregionA defined ecological zone — contiguous land sharing climate, dominant vegetation, characteristic species, and ecosystem function — and the federation rung directly above a Community.
  • Living Systems MemberThe seat for the land — a standing constituency in a body of people that holds the voice of the living systems the body affects and that cannot speak for themselves.
  • WatershedA drainage basin — all the land from which water flows to a common outlet. The foundational place-unit, drawn by the water itself.

Pillar VII — Sacred Culture, Art, and Story

  • CultureThe living soul of a people made visible — shared values, rituals, aesthetics, and ways of being; in the short form, the way we do things around here.
  • FestivalA communal celebration of sacred rhythm, remembrance, and meaning through art, ritual, and joy — the day a people becomes visible to itself.
  • OmniSpectionPeriodic review in every direction at once — inward, outward, backward, and forward — done in company, because no single vantage can see the whole.
  • StorytellingThe act of telling what happened so that it can travel — the sixth of The Seven Moves, and the primary vehicle by which culture spreads.

Pillar VIII — Sacred Science and Technology

  • Artificial IntelligenceMachine intelligence held under the same law as every other power — sacredly governed, belonging to a sovereign, never a Player.
  • InstrumentThe thing actually in hand — a calibrated tool that extends perception or action toward Truth and effectiveness.
  • InteroperabilityThe capacity of diverse things to work together as one without becoming the same.

Pillar X — Sacred Guardianship and Order

  • BoundaryA conscious limit set to protect what is sacred and to keep relationship possible.
  • GuardianshipThe duty to protect what is holy, vital, and aligned — carried without domination and without surveillance.
  • IntegrityCoherence between inner truth, outer action, and alignment — being one thing, all the way through.
  • ProtocolA pattern of action agreed in advance, so that when the hard moment comes nobody has to invent a response.
  • Selectively Permeable MembraneA conscious boundary that filters exchange while honouring sovereignty — consent at the door, and the freedom to leave.
  • The Sacred Use Of ForceWhen force is permitted, and how little of it — the minimum necessary to restore Right Relationship, and no more.
  • The Warrior's VowWhat binds the one who may use force — spoken aloud, before witnesses, with a clause that says when it ends.
  • WarriorOne who wields strength, courage, and skill in service of the Good, the True, and the Whole — servant of peace, not soldier of empire.

Pillar XII — Sacred Time, Rhythm, and Celebration

  • The Monthly SynthesisOnce a month, step back from the running of the work and ask three questions: are the Quests healthy, is the Circle healthy, are the agreements honored?

Sacred Society and Justice

  • CommunityA coherent field of belonging and co-creation rooted in shared rhythms and a shared place — about ten thousand people, anchored by the three hundred who hold it.
  • DignityThe inherent worth of every being as a unique expression of ØNE — not granted, not earned, not tradeable, and not erasable by anything a body decides.
  • Pillar XI — Sacred Society and JusticeThe sphere in which right relationship between beings is continually rewoven, and justice is practiced as the restoration of relationship rather than as retribution.
  • SponsorshipThe companion who walks beside a newcomer through their first season — a door, never a gatekeeper; a guide, never an authority.
  • TrustThe living foundation of every body — earned through kept promises, spent by broken ones, and the only medium at the speed of which the whole thing can actually travel.

Sacred Time, Rhythm, and Celebration

  • CelebrationJoy expressed together — not a reward for finished work but a move in the Game, and one of the moves a body most often skips.
  • ChronosMeasured time — the sequential, countable face of the day; enslaving when worshipped, indispensable when redeemed into the service of purpose.
  • Pillar XII — Sacred Time, Rhythm, and CelebrationThe sphere in which time is inhabited rather than spent — the rhythms, rites, and feasts through which everything the other eleven build becomes a life actually lived.
  • RhythmPatterned recurrence — the beat by which a body coordinates itself without anyone directing it, and the first thing a new Cell actually sets.
  • RitualA structured act, repeated, that aligns the people doing it with something deeper than the act — the small technology by which meaning is put into a body rather than explained to it.
  • SabbathThe sacred pause — rest kept as a discipline rather than taken when exhaustion forces it, and reclaimed as gift rather than law.
  • The LIØNSBERG CalendarThe breath of the year — roughly twenty-eight deliberate days on which practice extends, Circles gather more fully, and a scattered people breathes together.
  • The turningsThe four moments each year at which the Game turns — the two solstices and the two equinoxes — kept by the sun, which no one owns.
  • TimeThe unfolding of events in rhythm with the Logos — more than sequence; a vessel of meaning, and the one thing every table must share.

The Cell and the Body

  • Guard the MembraneVisibility, privacy, and safety decided on purpose — the boundary that filters exchange while honouring sovereignty.
  • HomeYour own place inside your Home Cell.
  • Outside Coordination and the Parallel ConstructWhy people of goodwill have to coordinate outside the existing institutions — and what the thing they build outside is for.
  • The Calling of the EcclesiaBeing asked, by name, by people who know you, to lead — the door that gathers workers where an invitation gathered watchers.
  • The door and the standing hourHow a body is reached, and when it gathers — said so plainly that a stranger can simply arrive.
  • The NeighborhoodFifteen to forty souls in immediate physical proximity — the people whose porches you can see from your own.
  • The pace of trustRoots before branches. A Circle forms, and a flame passes, only as fast as trust actually grows — never faster.
  • The VillageFifty to a hundred and fifty sovereigns — the last scale where direct knowing alone suffices.

The Game

  • Celebrate, Learn, and ImproveMove five: retrospect, refine, and mark what was good — because what is celebrated and refined is what becomes worth telling.
  • Choose a QuestMove three: one real thing, for one season, that your Cell can do together and point to afterward. Real, near, and yours.
  • Do the WorkMove four: discern, plan, act, keep promises, produce results. Say what you will do; do what you said; learn from the gap.
  • Form a CellMove one: three to thirteen people who choose to walk together, by name, and best at four to seven.
  • Pass The FlameMove seven, never optional: within a week, carry the Game to the two or three you know are ready. Their Cell is their own, not a branch of yours.
  • Share the StoriesMove six: every Quest becomes a story, and the story travels further than you can.
  • The BoardThe one public picture of the whole Game: who is playing, what they are questing, where it is going, and why.
  • The Circle SheetWho we are: name, place, people, who carried the Flame to us, who hears our season, and how a stranger reaches us.
  • The Circle's ScorecardOne sheet for one season, a row a week: who came, what was said, what was kept, one line learned, the Offering, the flames, the story.
  • The Five MovesThe compressed loop, as it is printed on the card: form a Cell · choose a Quest · learn and grow · share your stories · pass the Flame.
  • The GateThe door of the Game, singular: where a person hears the Story, gives their word, and is written on the Roll.
  • The InvitationThe word from a person that brings someone into the Game. It travels hand to hand.
  • The Issue-To-Movement ArcHow a felt wrong becomes a force: issue → cause → inspiration → movement. Four phases, each with its own work, and three transitions where most attempts die.
  • The Meta DragonGo upstream to the thing that is making the dragons. Cut down the small ones forever and they keep arriving; the war is lost while every skirmish is won.
  • The PlaycardThe one card you do not fill in: the aim, the compass question, the moves, and the words, received with the Flame and kept where you eat.
  • The PledgeThe first Commitment: what you will give for the season ahead, said before the first Quest.
  • The QuestcardOne card for one Quest: the Quest in a sentence, why it matters, when it is done, your part of the bigger plan, and who will do what by when.
  • The RecordSay what you will do; record what you did; learn from the gap. One line per commitment, every week.
  • The ReturnWhat comes back down from the whole to the Cell — and how paper meets the wire. The paper is always the original.
  • The RollThe line each person signs when they enter the Game: name · date · word · brought-by · witnessed-by.
  • The Season SheetOne page, at each turning, from every Cell to its home. Its fourteen lines are numbered, and the numbers are the same in every language.
  • The Seven MovesThe breath of a Cell: Form a Cell · Weave Spirit, Hearts, and Minds · Choose a Quest · Do the Work · Celebrate, Learn, and Improve · Share the Stories · Pass The Flame.
  • The Smallest Step ProtocolFor the moment when nothing large is available: find the smallest action you can actually take, take it, notice that you took it, and let the energy gather.
  • The Test of BelongingOne criterion for what is carried forward and what is left: if it belongs in the world we are making, it belongs here; if it does not, it does not — however familiar it has become.
  • The Way OutWhen something is wrong, and when someone leaves. The Game has no fence, and it has no cliff either.
  • The Way UpHow a season leaves the table: the sheet, the witness, the home, the Offering up, the proposal, the edition.
  • The Whisper CampaignHow a true signal travels: quietly, person to person, on resonance and trust rather than on volume. Hear · speak · listen — and never debate.
  • Wake upThe move before the moves: see where you are, and what you are for, before you gather anyone.
  • Weave Spirit, Hearts, and MindsMove two: coherence before action. A Circle that has not become one will not choose well.

The Game — moves, cards, rhythm

  • Green, yellow, redThree states, one word a week: how a Circle says how it is, beside the numbers it reports.
  • The Flame Bearer's PathPassing the flame, seen from the giver's side: the one who shares the Seed becomes a different person than the one who only received it.
  • The Vision only growsThe shared Vision sits in the middle of the Board and is never pruned. No one's dream is removed; we weave a bigger bouquet.

The Kit and the Agents

  • CapabilityWhat one party can do: a person, an agent, or a written thing. It sits in one place and can be listed.
  • CapacityThe proven ability to do the thing when the moment comes; why one plays as a Player+.
  • Heads-upOne private page an agent keeps for its person during a session: who is here, what waits on them, and what has happened, with the time.
  • LessonOne thing worth learning, small enough to do in about ten minutes, taught so that someone can correct you while you learn it.
  • ModuleLessons composed together on one shelf: the lessons that serve one part of the play. A module is made of lessons and is always more than one.
  • Notebook formThe way of doing a practice with no agent at all, given on every lesson: a person with a notebook is a complete player.
  • PKAIThe lineage the first personal agents and the Dyad Jams come from, and the starter kit that carries it.
  • Play by PlayThe room's shared running record, kept by one agent for everyone: newest first, one plain line for each thing that happened, with its time.
  • PlayerA person who has chosen to play the Great Game; an artificial agent is never one.
  • Player+A person together with any agents that act for them, as one unit: the Cell of a player and their agents, accountable to the sovereign, to ØNE, and to All.
  • Safe sparringWorking at full strength with someone because the terms were clear before the first move, and either of you may step off.
  • Safety checkA guard around an agent that can stop an action before it happens; it outranks the charter.
  • SkillA published folder of instructions in a standard's shape, which an agent loads when it needs it: one way of publishing a lesson, and a poor one.
  • The KitThe middle of the three tiers: the seed text together with the working parts — the Playbook, the Operating System, the lessons, and the agents — that a house takes one unit at a time.
  • Venue cardOne card, filled before an agent enters a room that is not its person's: what it may bring, what it may do, and when the card ends.

The Operating System and Integrated Delivery

  • Conditions of satisfactionWhat a commitment must meet to count as kept — written by the one who will receive the work, before the work begins.
  • ConstraintAnything that keeps a piece of work from being ready to be committed to — a missing decision, material, hand, ruling or predecessor — found in the look-ahead and removed by an owner by a date.
  • Critical PathThe chain of activities with no slack — the one that sets the date, and the one a body's attention belongs to.
  • FloatThe time an activity can slip without moving the end of the plan, or without delaying the activity that follows it.
  • Integrated Project DeliveryThe methodology the Pattern of Production was taken from: one team from the earliest planning through to activation, sharing risk, reward and information, optimising the whole rather than the pieces.
  • Make-Ready ProcessThe work of clearing constraints so that work can be released — making the can true before anyone says will.
  • MilestoneA marker of zero duration that a body steers by — a point, not a piece of work.
  • Minimum standards of interoperabilityMeet seven small things and any group can read, and be read by, any other — while running entirely on its own, under its own name, in its own culture.
  • Pull planningStart at the finish and ask what must be complete immediately before it, and before that, until you reach today.
  • SHOULD-CAN-WILL-DIDThe states a piece of work passes through: it should be done now, it can be done because nothing blocks it, someone says they will, and then it was — or was not, and the gap is what teaches.
  • The Aim CascadeThe chain that connects the deepest why to what you do in the next hour — and the thing to repair when a day full of work leaves nothing behind.
  • The Dashboard of CivilizationA civilisation read as a vessel with gauges — financial, social, ecological, technological, geopolitical, spiritual — each green, amber or red. The instrument urgency is read from, rather than argued into.
  • The five doorsAsk for guidance · offer a submittal · log an issue · record a decision · learn from the gap — the fixed set of moves anyone may make against the record of the whole.
  • The landing sequenceWhat to do on arriving mid-story: remember who you are and what this is for, become present, orient, engage, plan and adapt, move, and learn — in that order.
  • Who Not HowThe question of the age is not how the world will be changed but who will arise to change it — because transformation does not begin with systems, it begins with people who remember what they are for.

The Path

  • ConvergenceFederate: the stage at which Circles become Communities, Communities become Bioregions, and many quests become one great work.
  • Read The StoryThe first of the three entry moves — read the Story, play the Game, pass the Flame. Before anyone can play, they have to know what world they are in.
  • The 1-Day to 1-Week ThresholdThe hardest moment of the whole walk: the gap between reading alone and inviting someone else.
  • The 12 Stages of the Sovereign's PathThe archetypal arc of a lifetime's walking, each stage naming what the Sovereign is becoming rather than what they are doing.
  • The 144 Gates of InitiationThe Sovereign's walk from the Old World to the New: twelve movements of twelve thresholds, held at every scale at once.
  • The 72 Gates of the Sacred AscentNine movements of eight thresholds: the mastery architecture that opens after the universal walk is complete.
  • The Awakening (of the Path)Becoming present to where one has just landed — the first moves are not about doing, they are about seeing.
  • The Golden SeedThe minimum transmission from which the whole can be regrown — by a person or by an artificial intelligence, with a notebook and three people if that is all there is.
  • The One Book (the concept)One deliberate, complete turn — a single book that lays out where we are, why we are here, who is calling, what is being built, how it gets done in time, what your move is, what the words mean, who you are becoming, and how all of it keeps improving.
  • The Sacred Ascent (as tier)The mastery tier: where the Daily Way flows when it matures, and the spiral that opens after the universal walk is complete.
  • The Sacred Spiral — Not a CircleReturn is never to the same place. The same lesson comes round, but it meets someone the earlier turn has already changed.
  • The Second ThresholdLeaving is the first threshold. Becoming what the destination requires is the second — and only those who have become can enter, because the place is made of what they are.
  • The Sovereign PathThe lifetime arc — one Path, walked at every scale, from the moment the Seed is received to the moment the walking becomes eternal.
  • The Threshold (of the Path)The Path begins outside the books. A link arrives, a door opens, and a person is standing in the world before they have read a word about it.

The Plan

  • The PlanFive pages — Intention · Vision · Values · Strategy · Timeline — and one thing asked of each person.

The Story

  • Co-Creating HeavenMovement XI of the Sacred Arc: where sovereigns freely united walk as ØNE Body and keep choosing the best possible future for All, Heaven comes.
  • Embodying the WayMovement X of the Sacred Arc: they practised the Highest Way until it flowed through them of its own accord, and their lives and worlds turned toward Heaven.
  • Group StoriesEach group saying, in its own words and keeping it current, who it is, where it is, how it got there, where it is going, who it is going with, and why — and broadcasting that to everyone else.
  • Hospicing the Old SystemsThe theory of change at civilisational scale: the old world is not toppled and not reformed — it is helped to die well, while the new is built beside it so that everyone leaving has somewhere to go.
  • Liberation and ExodusMovement VIII of the Sacred Arc: domain by domain the chains were struck, the captives freed — and they began walking one another home.
  • Normalcy Bias and the Familiarity TrapThe default assumption that what is familiar will continue — the first thing any warning has to pass through, and the reason most warnings do not.
  • Pre-Collapse Proaction vs Post-Collapse ReactionThe choice between coordinating before a fall and rebuilding after one — and the reasons the second is so much worse than it sounds.
  • The Breath Out · The Turn · The Breath HomeThe three-part shape of the Sacred Arc: the pouring outward, the single hinge, and the long carrying home.
  • The CavesThe imprisoned state of consciousness, and the opening image of the whole journey: a people held captive not by bars but by a story they repeat in their sleep.
  • The Existing OrderThe present global arrangement of governance, economy, culture, and religion, named as one object — so that "what we are leaving" has a referent as precise as "where we are going".
  • The FallMovement V of the Sacred Arc: from the illusion of separation, the first selfish thought — and from it the long night of extraction and Kontrolle.
  • The Golden ThreadWhat is wise, right, good and true running through every tradition, every people's story, and every honest vision of the future — the thing that turns out to be shared once each thread is actually woven in.
  • The Great ReMemberingMovement IX of the Sacred Arc: the freed remembered Who they were and how they came to be, and consciously reunited as fellow members of ØNE Body.
  • The Meta Crisis as Push, The Goal as PullTwo forces move a person, not one: the collapse behind that makes staying impossible, and the vision ahead that makes moving worth it. Either alone goes wrong in a predictable way.
  • The Old Operating SystemThe behaviour beneath the institutions — the defaults people actually run, which rebuild the same world even after its buildings are replaced.
  • The Promised LandWhere the Story is going — not a place we arrive at but a way of living we co-create, here and now, a little more each week.
  • The Sacred ArcThe whole Story of ØNE and All in twelve movements, one breath each — the shared bones every deeper telling renders at its own depth.
  • The Sacred WarMovement VII of the Sacred Arc: the awakening became a Sacred Force, and Love grew and organised as an immune system within ØNE Body.
  • The Voluntary Leap ForwardThe third way through a collapse: not dragged by it, not pushed into it by fear, but stepping across on purpose — with eyes open, whole, and by one's own consent.
  • The WildernessThe territory between the Old World collapsing and the New not yet built. Its own country, with its own patterns. None who pass between the two worlds avoid it.
  • The WindowThe open interval in which a world can still choose — the span in which the crossing from the old pattern to the new remains possible, before Collapse closes the way.

The Way — Pattern Language, Elements, Recognitions, Anti-Patterns

  • The Daily ReckoningThree questions at the close of the day: where did I walk in alignment, where did I walk out of it, and what does tomorrow ask of me.

The Way — the Pattern

  • Acceptance Criteria for a New SystemA test sheet written before the thing is chosen: what any proposed system must be able to do to be worth a people's participation — including, and especially, this one.
  • Anatomies of AssociationFour things appear whenever sovereign beings associate on purpose: a domain, a membrane, a field of agreements, and a commons. They are not features added to a group; they are what a group that holds together is made of.
  • Centralization Of PowerThe first disease: decisions drifting upward until a centre exists that did not exist before, and cannot now be removed.
  • Coherence Without DogmaA body holds together by shared orientation, not by shared belief — which is why no one has to agree with anyone here in order to work with them.
  • Confidence Intervals on CollapseState the uncertainty of your own estimate as part of the estimate. The band is what separates calibrated risk-reading from both doomism and denial.
  • Control Of InformationThe third disease: opacity used as power — the few who can see deciding for the many who cannot.
  • Convergent Streams of DiscoveryThe answer to "where does this come from?" — not from one place, one tradition, or one mind, but from several that arrived at the same shape independently. Convergence is the evidence.
  • Do The Hard Work Ourselves To Make It Easier For Those Who Come AfterComing to the river, the strong could ford it. They build a bridge instead — because millions are coming behind, and many of them cannot ford anything.
  • Extraction Of WealthThe second disease: value leaving the Body faster than it enters, and leaving upward — capital capturing the purpose it was meant to serve.
  • Ideological CaptureThe fifth disease: the idea eating the purpose. What was an articulation of the Way becomes the thing being defended, and the Way is measured against it rather than the reverse.
  • Institutional IdolatryThe sixth disease: the institution becomes the end. The vessel built to carry the purpose is preserved at the purpose's expense.
  • Manufactured DependencyThe fourth disease: a body that cannot leave. Not because it is forbidden, but because leaving has been made impossible.
  • Necessity Of AccountabilityThe fifth Recognition: all authority is revocable, and no role carries immunity from those it serves.
  • Networks of CommitmentsElement eleven: work is a network of reliable promises — freely made, faithfully kept, honestly reported. Not command, not compliance, not surveillance.
  • New Wine Requires New WineskinsWhat is still fermenting expands, and a hardened container bursts. Build the new thing in a new container; do not pour it into the old one and call that transformation.
  • Possibility Of ReversalThe sixth Recognition: every significant decision can be revisited. Nothing is settled beyond the reach of those who will live with it.
  • Primacy Of ConsentThe third Recognition: binding decisions require genuine consent, freely given and revocable. Nobody is governed who has not agreed, and silence is never a yes.
  • Probability, Severity, and ScopeThe three-variable frame every serious risk discipline uses: how likely, how bad, how wide. One extreme warrants attention; two demand mobilisation; all three at once leaves one rational response.
  • Requirement Of TransparencyThe fourth Recognition: reasoning is visible; power is accountable. Not the exposure of persons — the exposure of decisions.
  • Self-Sustenance and Self-ReplicationElement seven: every living thing sustains itself and brings forth new life — and the final step of maturity is planting new seeds.
  • Sovereignty Of ConsciousnessThe first Recognition: every conscious being holds irreducible dignity. Not granted by any body, and therefore not removable by one.
  • Structural ImmunityElement eight: the immune system written into the DNA from the seed — explicit protections against the diseases that have killed every movement that came close before.
  • Subsidiarity Of AuthorityThe second Recognition: decisions belong at the smallest scale that can make them well. Service flows downward; authority flows upward.
  • The Anti-PatternsThe diseases that kill the Pattern. Every Body that ever fell, fell through one or more of these. The Body that knows them by name catches them early.
  • The Constitutional RecognitionsSeven recognitions that no Body of LIØNSBERG amends — the bedrock beneath every Pattern. A movement that violates these produces something other than the Pattern.
  • The Core PatternThe irreducible DNA on one page: twelve Elements and seven Recognitions, enough that the whole system could be regrown from them alone.
  • The False ProphetThe eighth disease: liberation rhetoric in the service of new domination. The words of the Way used to build the thing the Way exists to end.
  • The Golden CalfThe seventh disease: a visible idol replaces the invisible Source. Something we can see and hold takes the place of what cannot be seen or held.
  • The Iron-Manned Opposing ArgumentBuild the strongest possible case against your own urgency before asserting it — not the weak version that is easy to knock down, but the one a thoughtful opponent would actually make.
  • The LIØNSBERG Pattern LanguageThe keystone: the grammar of the System, in which each unit of wisdom is articulated once, by name, so that everything else can compose it without restating it.
  • The LIØNSBERG RulesA rule of life short enough to be said in one breath and remembered across generations: there is only one rule — everything is ØNE; and do the wise right thing, at the wise right time, with the wise right people, to progressively realise the Goal.
  • The ParasiteThe ninth disease: what feeds on the commons without contributing to it — and, at the door of every commons, showing up to drain it rather than to build it.
  • The ReMembering StanceThe Way is not learned new; it is remembered. Which changes what teaching is, what resonance means, and what trauma has actually done.
  • Tightly Coupled Learning and ActionElement twelve: learning and action are fused, not sequenced. Every action generates feedback; every feedback improves the next action. Discern, plan, do, check, adjust — at every fractal level.
  • Twelve Irreducible ElementsThe DNA. Remove any single one and the system fails; hold all twelve and what results is self-governing, self-sustaining, self-replicating, and self-improving.
  • Word ToolsEvery name is a tool that points toward something real, never the thing itself. Many traditions honed different tools for the same Reality; none of them is the Reality.

The ØNE as Center

  • AllAll things, equally and without exception — the totality that ØNE emanates into and receives back.
  • Do Not Concretize the AbsoluteThe discipline that keeps the centre from becoming an idol: every articulation of ØNE is a pointer, never the thing.
  • LIØNSBERG Is A Prototype, Not The Eternal EssenceThis proposes a Pattern. The eternal essence is what the Pattern points to and cannot capture.
  • One of the Ones of the ØNEEach of the All is one, and one of the Ones, and of the ØNE.
  • The Cohering SpiritWhat holds a body together when nothing is enforcing it: people turning toward the same real thing find themselves turned toward each other.
  • The Eternal Divine PlayThe cosmic Game ØNE plays with All — the Story beneath every smaller story, and the loop that has no end.
  • The Foundational TruthOnly the ØNE is ultimate authority. Everything else — every page, every plan, every word here — is a current best rendering, and nothing is locked.
  • The LIØNSBERG FunctionWhat it is for, stated so it can be checked: to enable any sovereign being or world to become a conscious co-creator of Heaven wherever they find themselves — by handing over a Story, a Pattern and a Way, and by finding and federating with whoever is already living something coherent with it.
  • The Pattern Governs, Not PeopleWhat binds when no one is in charge — and the line that every apparent leader is bound by first.
  • Truth To ØNE, Errors To UsAnything true here belongs freely to ØNE and All. Any errors or mistakes belong to us.
  • Values as Facets of the ØNEValues read as discoveries rather than preferences — each one a face the real shows through some dimension of form, so a value can be seen or missed but not invented or voted away.
  • What LIØNSBERG IsThe shortest true answer: some of what is, consciously organising itself to see and serve All from as near the ØNE's own vantage as it can reach — and one working example of the Pattern, not the Pattern.
  • ØNE Vision and IntentThe invariant above every plan: ØNE · Creator's Intent · Heaven — here, now, everywhere, for everyone, forever. The why does not change; every how is current best understanding.

V · Pillar V — Sacred Health and Wellness

  • Anxiety as Default-OnThe diagnosis that removes the shame: anxiety is not a character defect but a nervous system doing its job in conditions it is reading accurately.
  • Emotion as instrument readingAn emotion is a felt reading of where a being stands on The Living Gradient, and which way it is moving. Emotions are not interruptions of navigation. Emotions are the navigation.
  • The AccuserThe interior voice that takes up what was said about you and asks, in the sleepless hours, whether you deserved it.

VI · Pillar VI — Sacred Ecology and Living Systems

  • Trickle-Up CollapseMass mortality at the base of the living web climbing upward into us — read as a precursor rather than as a sentiment about nature.

VIII · Pillar VIII — Sacred Science and Technology

  • Programmable MoneyCurrency that carries rules about how, when, where, and by whom it may be spent — so that the instrument of exchange becomes the instrument of permission.
  • The Digital PanopticonWatching a whole population, treated as a condition already technically achieved rather than one approaching — the architecture exists and is largely running.
  • The Race Between Liberation and KontrolleThe same technologies produce both futures. Which one arrives is decided by who reaches scale first and by what is brought to them — not by the technologies, which decide nothing.

Words and Conventions

  • A Word on WordsThe chapter spoken once, early, before the Story is told: what was done to our words, and the discipline we keep in answer.
  • Chatham HouseThe idea travels; the source does not — and both halves of that are the rule.
  • ElisionA line hidden and forgotten on purpose, on the record: not enclosure, and not deletion.
  • Everything Is Current Best UnderstandingEverything below the Goal is the best we can say today — disposable the moment a better way serves the Goal.
  • On translatingTranslate the words into whatever your table speaks; keep the numbers, because line six is line six everywhere.
  • The Discernment PermissionThe standing invitation given to every reader: test everything, fill what is lacking, remove what does not belong, improve what is in error. Nobody here is above being corrected.
  • The LIØNSBERG LexiconThe WHAT layer of the language: one canonical definition per term, opened whenever a word's meaning is at stake.
  • Wise RightThe canon's own compound adjective. It marks the thing that is both wise and right in this situation — and it exists because a list of values, however good, cannot be that.

X · Pillar X — Sacred Guardianship and Order

  • The Lahaina PrincipleWithholding a warning for fear of how people will react is itself the catastrophe. The ones whose office is to warn, refusing to warn, on the grounds that the warned might behave imperfectly.

XI · Pillar XI — Sacred Society and Justice

  • The Two HundredThe words a Cell meets in its first season, by domain. Each is defined once, in one place, and links to what it stands on and what it opens onto. Begin with The Twenty.
