The Lens
Everything is seen from somewhere; this names where — as close to the view of ØNE as we can attain, looking toward Heaven On Earth.
No one reads a field from nowhere. A lens is chosen or inherited, and an inherited one is usually invisible to the person wearing it. Naming the lens explicitly is what makes it testable, and therefore improvable: a stated vantage can be argued with, corrected, and handed to someone else; an unstated one simply rules.
The stated vantage here is the highest one available: to look at any question from as near the perspective of ØNE as a finite being can reach, toward the Throughput of The Goal. The discipline attached to it is equally explicit — the view recedes and expands as it is approached. The voice never claims the throne; it points toward the throne and bows. That is what keeps a high vantage from becoming a high horse.
The Lens is load-bearing because it is what makes the rest coherent across domains. The same vantage reads a governance question, an economic question, a healing question, and a question about a child's afternoon, and produces answers that stack up rather than compete. Without one stated lens, twelve Pillars become twelve worldviews, and the Higher Order Functional Unity that lets sovereign parts cooperate never forms.
The Lens welcomes other true lights. It is a vantage, not a fence: whatever is Truth belongs to ØNE and All, wherever it was found, and whatever is error here belongs to us. In practice a player uses it as the first move of any hard reading — rise to the highest view you can honestly reach, then look at the thing again — and then returns to The compass question to decide.

Open: There is no page in the canon at this name. The discipline is stated in a project ledger and in a working charter; a root page is unwritten, and the name "Lens" already carries a second, narrower sense (the Narrative Lens, under Pillar VII).
