What is this, in one sentence?

A voluntary association of sovereigns organizing into a single coherent body — the (Currently Nameless) Superorganism — in service of the regeneration of Earth and the harmonization of all generations of life.

Why now?

Because Earth's natural, social, economic, and political systems are accelerating into a collapse-ascension nexus, and because every condition needed to act together at planetary scale (the people, the patterns, the capital, the technology, the trust) is finally available — and not yet woven. We weave it now or it does not get woven in time. See The 12 Big Ideas.

Is it a religion? a company? a country? a co-op?

It is a private voluntary association of sovereigns at Layer II — a spiritual association open to all who consent. Below Layer II, it is a federated economy of sovereign no-owner FSx bodies. It is not a public authority, not a government, and does not replace the sovereignty or jurisdiction of any participant. See II - The Stewardship Agreement §4–§5.

What is the FSx pattern?

FSx = Fractal Sovereign (x) — a FairShares Commons-type sovereign legal person with agency independent of any single party, with dynamic weighted governance and economic rights. The 'x' is the variable that takes any scale of the fractal as its value. The pattern is genus; FairShares Commons is one ancestral expression of it. The FSx evolution carries the pattern into a fractal multi-scale form for planetary-scale federation.

What is a Dynamic Governance Stake and a Dynamic Value Stake?

Every party that federates carries both — a share of voice in the bodies it federates into, and a share in the value its work generates and in the value the wider ecosystem generates. Both are dynamic — they evolve as the participant and the superorganism learn and grow together over time. This is the structural difference from open-source FSx adoption alone: every entity that federates from the beginning receives both stakes from day one.

What does it mean to "federate"?

To enter into a sovereign-to-sovereign agreement with the wider body — accepting the Threshold of Federation (constitution as an FSx), and signing a Federation Agreement specifying the entity's standing, contribution, and exit terms. Federation is reciprocal; ownership runs in neither direction.

What does it cost? What does it require?

The constitutional package and all Templates are released to the Knowledge Commons under CC-BY-SA 4.0 — free for anyone to instantiate, with or without federating. To federate into the FSx ecosystem requires constituting as an FSx (or sub-FSx), signing the relevant Agreement(s), and committing to the Stewardship Principles, the Asset/Purpose Locks, and the Knowledge Commons contribution at the layer in question.

What if I want to leave?

Voluntary exit is preserved at every layer — and entrenched as an Absolute provision at Layer II. Exit terms vary by Federation Agreement; honest past contributions are not clawed back; the spiritual association at Layer II cannot be terminated for the participant's leaving the economic federation.

Is the language too heavy?

The DNA of a body capable of lifting up billions requires some structural detail. The package is purpose-built to be born and start very simply — the Guidebook for the Emergence is the practitioner-facing companion. Read the Invitation first, then the The 12 Big Ideas, then the Constitution when ready.
