The (Currently Nameless) Superorganism
A voluntary association of sovereigns, organizing into a single coherent body in service of the regeneration of Earth and all worlds we are part of.
A Dynamic Structure for Radical Collaboration
This folder is the interim constitutional package of an emerging superorganism — a voluntary association of sovereigns convening on the basis of our inalienable right and shared moral imperative to participate, as consciously and competently as we are able, in the regeneration and co-operation of Earth and all worlds as one planetary commons that works for All their inhabitants.
The superorganism does not yet have a proper name. It is being addressed here as the (Currently Nameless) Superorganism — or, in regular text, simply the superorganism — until those who join it choose its name together (or choose to remain nameless). Naming is one of the questions the Founding Phase will answer.
We do not invent. We discern. The patterns articulated here are an attempt to consciously localize and adapt to Earth — and to the relationships of those of us reading this — patterns already operating throughout the living universe, across uncounted groups and civilizations, across countless billions of years. Everything that follows is biomimicry: a reverent, deliberate effort to enact in human terms the wisdom already operating in the living world.

Lattice, not tree. Layers IV through VII are peer axes of belonging between the planetary spine (III) and the federating individual (VIII). A single FSx Organism (VII) typically belongs to several of these at once — for instance, the planetary Ecosystem Holding (III), one or more sub-pools of the Resourcing Pool (IV) whose philosophy it shares, the FSx Ecosystem(s) (V) of the place(s) and domain(s) it operates in, and the FSx Guild(s) (VI) of the practices it carries. Belonging is woven, not hierarchical.
Dynamic Governance Stake and Dynamic Value Stake. Every party that federates carries both a Dynamic Governance Stake (a share of voice in the bodies it federates into) and a Dynamic Value Stake (a share in the value its work generates and the value the entire ecosystem generates). Both are dynamic — they evolve as the participant and the superorganism learn and grow together over time. At every layer of the lattice (an FSx Individual federating into an FSx Organism, an FSx Organism federating into an FSx Ecosystem or Guild, all FSx bodies federating into Layers III and IV), the same two-stake principle holds.
Superorganism Constituency. The reciprocal of the two-stake principle: every FSx body federated into this ecosystem reserves a Superorganism Constituency representing the (Currently Nameless) Superorganism itself. This Constituency carries the Superorganism Dynamic Stake — by default 10% Dynamic Governance Stake and 10% Dynamic Value Stake — through which the body of the whole holds voice and share in every federated body. The Constituency appears as Class K at III - The Ecosystem Holding Charter §4.1, Class J at IV - The Ecosystem Resourcing Pool Charter §4.1, Class K at VII - The FSx Organism Template Article 10, parallel provisions in V - The FSx Ecosystem Template and VI - The FSx Guild Template, and Section F-bis at VIII - The FSx Individual Template. Where the two-stake principle flows outward from each Fractal Sovereign into the bodies it federates with, the Superorganism Dynamic Stake flows inward from those bodies back to the whole. The pattern closes both directions.
Threshold of Federation. Membership in Layer II (the spiritual association) is open to any individual sovereign being, organization, network, community, tribe, nation, or other voluntary participant who consents and meets the qualifying criteria. Federation into Layer III (the economy) and below requires that the federating entity be constituted as an FSx — a sovereign, no-owner, legal avatar with agency independent of any single party. The pattern is the gateway: the underlying unity already is, voluntary spiritual association is open; the economy is sovereign-to-sovereign throughout and therefore requires explicit legal sovereignty at all levels. This protects the federation and its participants, structurally, from capture, predation, and enclosure.
The FSx pattern is the generic gift. Any group can adopt the FSx pattern in isolation; the open-source Articles in Layers V–VIII are released to the Knowledge Commons under CC-BY-SA 4.0, free for anyone to instantiate. This constitutes any group as a sovereign legal avatar — preserves sovereignty, prevents capture, structurally immunizes against extraction. Adopt the pattern alone, and you have an isolated FSx body without ecosystem standing. Federating with others later requires negotiating new agreements from scratch — historically very difficult, and where the patterns of isolated cooperatives (even the most successful ones) typically come up short.
Federation into a named Superorganism is a woven offering. When a Layer II Superorganism has already chosen its name and articulated its Layers II–IV, federating into it from the beginning means every entity that federates receives a Dynamic Governance Stake and a Dynamic Value Stake in the whole ecosystem from day one — not only in its own organization. The federation patterns do not need to be re-derived. The ergodic pooling, the cross-fund risk sharing, the constituted spine do not need to be recreated. Sovereignty preserved; isolation overcome; ensemble risk dramatically reduced; lifetimes of articulated experience and value available as an immediate starting point. This is what weaving into a named Prototype provides that starting one's own FSx in isolation cannot.
Other (Currently Nameless) Superorganisms could also constitute their own Layers II–IV. Each new one would face the same constitutional work, and the same isolation problem until/unless its members federate. The Pattern honors every Sovereign's freedom to do so. The wise move, where the work of the first constitution has already been done "good enough for now, safe enough to try, able to be improved" and remains open to weaving, is to weave.
The Driver Statement
The superorganism's purpose, its first and last reference, is the Driver Statement at the head of II - The Stewardship Agreement and reproduced standalone in Appendix A - The Driver Statement. In short:
The superorganism exists to unite and cohere the consciousness, capacities, and activities of fractal sovereigns into a higher-order functional unity in service of Life and Source — capable of regenerating Earth, harmonizing her inhabitants into a world that works for All, and supporting the flourishing of all generations of life across all realms and worlds we are part of.
The Driver Statement evolves as internal and external context evolve. Its core commitment — to act in service of the flourishing of Life and the harmonization of all generations thereof — is entrenched.

This package is circulating for review and refinement during the Founding Phase. The Phase soft-launches in May 2026, formally opens at the First Annual General Meeting at Summer Solstice 2026 (where the interim Stewardship Agreement and Ecosystem Holding Charter are provisionally constituted by the founding members), and closes with the Second Annual General Meeting at Summer Solstice 2027 (where the refined Articles are ratified, the Founding Stewards are installed, and the body enters its established rhythms).
What is in this package is intentionally improvable. The Founding Phase is the year in which it improves. Working circles should be formed around every major working part.
