Live log
The running list inside a heads-up: one line for each thing that happened, with the time.
One event, one line, in order. A change on the shared page. A decision said aloud. A link that landed. A word from your own hand. Nothing interpreted, nothing summarised, nothing personal about anyone else.
It is load-bearing because it turns a session into something that can be read afterwards by someone who was in the room but not looking. A five-second glance answers what moved; the log is what makes that glance possible. It is also the raw material for everything downstream: the room's shared record, the retrospective, the story told at the season's turning, and the honest account of what a Cell actually did with its week.
The single discipline is the time. Most agents cannot tell what hour it is unless something tells them, so an agent reads a clock or asks its person, and never estimates from a stamp it saw earlier. A guessed time drifts, and a log with drifting times misleads more than an empty one. An estimate, where one is needed at all, is said in words and never dressed as a number.
The second discipline is restraint. A log holds what happened and not what it meant; interpretation belongs to the retrospective, and a log that argues cannot later be trusted as evidence. It also holds nothing personal about anyone else, because the same events may be wanted for the room's shared record, and a line written once in a private log has a way of being copied.
A Player+ keeps the log only as long as the session, and keeps it first: the agent writes here before it writes anywhere else, because a log written second is a reconstruction. With no agent, the same three headings on paper do the whole job, and each finished ask is struck through by hand.
