Pattern Card
One wisdom-unit, held whole on one card: its context, the forces in tension, the move, the scales it works at, and what it composes with.
A Card is short enough to be read at a sitting and complete enough to be acted on. The canonical form names: the Pattern; the context in which it applies; the function it serves; the forces pulling against each other; the solution; the Patterns it composes with; how it varies across scales; the lineages that found it before us; the Plays that invoke it; and how it improves. A Card that holds two ideas is split. A Card that has grown into an essay has stopped being a Card.
The discipline behind the form is the Card Method: capture one idea per card, keep it to a screen, note where it came from, link generously, and refuse premature structure — let the architecture emerge from the cards rather than imposing chapters on them. This is how a corpus of this size stays usable, and it is the same shape the Game uses at the table (The Playcard · The Questcard · The Season Sheet): one card, one unit, the same shape everywhere.
Cards are load-bearing because they are where the The LIØNSBERG Pattern Language stops being a list of names and becomes usable. A named Pattern with no Card is an The Incipient Link — a promise of meaning, honest but unpaid. About fifty-five Cards are drafted; they cluster almost entirely in the Sovereign's inner way — body, breath, mind, spirit, field, emotion — with a handful of meta-Cards about the Language itself. The cooperation and production Patterns are named but largely uncarded.
Improvement is structural: a Card is never finished, and the wisdom of a high-reuse Card deserves the most careful articulation, because when it deepens every composition that reaches for it deepens too.
