Adjudication
The rendering of a just outcome by an entrusted body, in alignment with Law and Logos.
Adjudication differs from Arbitration in where its standing comes from. An arbiter is chosen by the parties for one dispute; an adjudicating body holds a standing charge from the whole to interpret what the body has agreed and to say what follows. It is the judicial function, and the canon keeps it separate from the deciding and the doing functions on purpose (Separation Of Power).
It is load-bearing because a body that writes agreements must eventually answer what does this agreement mean in this case — and if no one has that charge, the answer defaults to whoever has the most influence. That is the quiet route by which a constitution becomes decorative.
The canon's sketch is a judicial council of seven to twelve wise elders, appointed by the general assembly, one of them serving as chief, charged with guarding and interpreting the The LIØNSBERG Constitution and upholding universal law and the shared goals and values. That is a structure, not yet a jurisprudence: no page describes how a matter reaches it, what standard it applies, or how its rulings may be revisited — though Possibility Of Reversal says they must be revisitable.
In play, almost no player will meet it. It matters chiefly as the existence proof that interpretation has a home, and as a reminder that its distance from the everyday table is the point: adjudication is the last step, not a first resort.
