Divine Spark

The indwelling fragment of ØNE within each being, waiting to be awakened and realized.

The Divine Spark is Immanence at the scale of one life. The Story states its origin directly: the Many pouring forth from the Fount were each one of the ones of ØNE, a fragment of ØNE experiencing itself through them. The Veil of Finitude and Forgetting explains why it is not obvious — the veil is what makes creaturehood possible — and adds the line that matters most here: those who wander far accumulate veils until the original spark seems to be gone. It is never gone. It is veiled.

That "never gone" is load-bearing, and it does more work than any argument in the governance pages. It is the ground of Dignity that cannot be forfeited, of Sovereignty Of Consciousness as a recognition rather than a grant, of Redemption as always possible, and of a door that never closes on anyone who left. It is also why the canon can say something is deeply wrong, and it is not you to a stranger it has never met.

It sets the posture of teaching, too. If the spark is already present, then formation is drawing out rather than filling up: Genius is the unique gift each being carries, Education As Transformation forms people rather than installing them, and the Guide helps each player find the next stretch of their own path rather than a standard curriculum. A whole curriculum at the door is a wall; one lesson when you are about to need it is a door.

In play it is met as a practice of seeing: treating the person at the table as carrying something that is theirs and real, before they have demonstrated anything.
