The Sacred Mountain
What the name points at: the climb toward ultimate unity, whose summit reaches into unseen realms and whose foundation anchors creation itself.
Mountains have carried this meaning in nearly every tradition that has ever existed, which is why the image needs no explaining to anyone: the high place where the human meets what is above it, reached by climbing, and never by being carried. The Sacred Mountain is that referent — the ascent toward union, made by love rather than by force, with a summit that is not a location (The Sacred Ascent, Coming Home, Union).
Three things are said of it. Its summit stretches into realms nobody has surveyed, so the climb is not finite in the way a project is. Its foundation anchors creation, so it is not an escape from the world but the axis of it. And it is not far: the Sacred Mountain dwells in the Spirit and Heart of All — the path to it begins within (Immanence, Transcendence, Divine Spark).
It is load-bearing because it makes the whole enterprise legible in one image, to anyone, in any language. Not an organisation. Not a programme. A climb — undertaken together, from wherever each person is standing, toward something that was always there (The Sovereign Path, Metaphor, Mythos).
And it carries the one warning any sacred image needs. A mountain is not owned, not sold, and not anyone's possession; it belongs to nobody and it is climbed by everybody. A body that begins to speak as though it holds the summit has stopped describing the mountain and begun building an idol at the foot of it (Do Not Concretize the Absolute, The Golden Calf, The Eternally Nameless).
