Warrior
One who wields strength, courage, and skill in service of the Good, the True, and the Whole — servant of peace, not soldier of empire.
The warrior is the archetype of the one who stands between life and threat. The distinction from the soldier is not politeness; it is the direction of allegiance. A soldier of empire serves whoever commands, and the question of what the force is for is somebody else's. A sacred warrior is answerable for what their strength does, to ØNE and to All, and may refuse.
The training has two halves and the inner one comes first. Outwardly: skill, readiness, Composure Under Threat, the discipline to act well when frightened. Inwardly: discernment sharp enough to know what is actually happening, self-mastery deep enough that the strength is not in service of the warrior's own wound, and the moral clarity to take a stand. Without self-mastery no peace endures, and a warrior who has not done that work becomes a danger wearing the word protector — the failure the canon names as The Dark Initiate Failure Mode.
What binds the strength is The Warrior's Vow, spoken before witnesses, with a clause that says when the warrior must stop. What limits it is The Sacred Use Of Force — last resort, never first strategy, the minimum that restores right relationship. What completes it is The Threefold Capacity: creation, healing, and destruction held co-equally by the same hands, so that the one able to destroy is also the one able to mend, and has practised both.
Warriors are not solitary here. The pair, the circle, the community of three hundred: strength is held under witness, because strength without witness drifts, and the drift is never visible from inside.
