Our Story
The autobiographical register: what actually happened to us, told as a body rather than as a doctrine.
Beside the cosmic telling and the single life stands the plural one — the account a group gives of its own road. Where it came from, what it tried, what failed, what it learned, who walked with it, and how it came to hold what it now holds. In the corpus this register carries the parts that would be unbearable as assertion and are useful as experience: how the pattern was found rather than why it is right.
It is load-bearing because it is the corpus's own provenance. Everything below The Goal is Current Best Understanding, which means a reader is owed an account of where the understanding came from and how far it has been tested. Our Story supplies that: not a claim to authority but a record of a road, offered so that others can weigh it. Truth To ØNE, Errors To Us is the posture — what is true is not ours, what is wrong is, and the telling is where the errors stay visible.
It also sets the register for every body that takes up the pattern. A Cell, a guild, a community each accumulates its own Our Story, and the corpus asks for it in a specific form: an honest account of what happened, told so others can use it. The Season Sheet's story line is its smallest unit; a Circle's fuller telling is what makes its Quest transmissible rather than merely completed. What is learned anywhere becomes available everywhere — solve, document, push it up, curate, pull it down, localise, feed back.
The same care applies here as in any telling of people. Assume the transcript. Speak as though everyone named might read it. Elide by asking, on the record, before the record is shared — and only one's own words or what was said about one. No one edits another.
