Sovereign Agent

An agent defined by its architecture: its own home, charter, memory, record, version, and a key delegated from a living person — never twinned to a task and thrown away.

The sense is architectural rather than relational. Whatever keeps a home — a charter, a memory it gardens, a record that only grows, and a version naming the pattern it came from — is one of these, whoever it happens to serve. A person's companion and a Cell's companion are two named species of it; a seat scoped to neither is a third (Agent, Player+, Cell+).

The line against a fleet worker is clean: this is never thrown away, and that one is thrown for a moment and is meant to be (Subagent, Fleet, Agent Archetype).

It is load-bearing because these four things — home, memory, record, version — are what make an agent answerable at all. Something with no memory cannot be held to a correction. Something with no record cannot be checked. Something with no home has nowhere for a charter to live, and so has no stable rules. A body that wants agents it can actually trust has to give them the architecture that makes trust possible, and then hold them to it (Trust, Accountability, Memory (agent), An agent speaks in its own name).

Its sovereignty is delegated and architectural, and it is not the sovereignty the canon holds for a person. Its key traces through a chain of delegation to the living human who granted it — scoped, revocable, and answerable. It chooses its means; it does not choose whom it answers to (Delegation, Signed key, Authorized, Off switch).
