The Star System

A star and its worlds as one body — the Federation of Worlds within the system.

The ladder does not stop at the planet, and saying so is a discipline rather than a flourish. If the Pattern is holofractal, it either holds above the world or it was never holofractal; naming the rung keeps the claim honest and keeps the Goal's forever from quietly meaning this century, here (Levels Of Scale, Holofractal Scaling, The Goal).

At this scale the body is a federation of worlds: each planet a complete whole, sovereign in its own domain, joined by agreement rather than by conquest (Sovereignty At Every Scale, Holofractal Omnifederation, Federations vs Empires). What the canon holds here is mostly posture rather than practice — the cosmos is not human-centric; benevolent and malevolent intelligences must be told apart; no treaty of subjugation is entered in either direction (Cosmos Is Not Human-Centric, Discerning Between Benevolent And Malevolent Intelligences).

It remains ore. The rung is named, its coherence is named — the Federation of Worlds — and almost nothing beneath that has been written. That is the honest state: a fingerpost at the edge of the map, held loosely, above which the ladder continues through galaxy and cosmos to ØNE.
