The Planet

A whole living world as one body — for us, Earth, and the scale at which the crossing is finally measured.

Above the georegional rung, the ladder arrives at the planet: one living being, federating all who dwell here, with a card of the same shape as a Cell's (Levels Of Scale, Cell of Cells). The claim is not administrative. A planet is a biome before it is a jurisdiction, and the body that coheres at this scale is the one that can act on the things that are genuinely planetary — atmosphere, ocean, climate, the commons no border contains (Commons, Living System).

It is load-bearing because it is where the Goal is stated: Heaven on Earth, for All, forever, and all means the planet's whole membership, not one species of it (The Goal, Kinship, Inter-Kingdom Relationship). The canon also names the transitional form — the Planetary Grid, the topology the hubs, arks, and islands of coherence make as they link into one body during the crossing (Islands, Hubs, Grid, The Hub, The Wilderness).

Nothing about the pattern changes at this size. The planet is a Domain, a superorganism of its bioregions, and a subsystem of its star system; it decides by consent at the smallest competent scale, holds its own Field of Agreements, and is owned by nobody (Sovereignty At Every Scale, Agency, not ownership).
