How resources move between Circles without a centre — the federation read as a circulatory system rather than a treasury.
The old economy was built like a drain: value extracted from the periphery, concentrated at the centre, the edges left dependent. The reversal is not a better centre but no centre at all. Resources move to where they are most needed, pooled and distributed through Commons at each scale, nourished by all and belonging to all. This is not charity; it is ecology. In a living body blood does not accumulate in one organ — it circulates, reaching every cell, feeding every function, sustaining the whole.
What flows is not only money. Time, freely offered to another's Quest. Energy — physical, emotional, spiritual presence. Materials: tools, equipment, spaces, land. Knowledge: lessons learned, patterns discovered. Skills: the particular gift each person and Circle carries. Every Circle is both giver and receiver, every guild both contributes and draws, and the ecosystem stays alive because value never stops moving.
The flow runs at every level of federation by the same rule. Within a Cell, members share time, skills, and materials for a shared Quest. Across Cells in a Community, a local commons funds shared projects and supports struggling Circles. Across Communities in a Bioregion, regional commons coordinate larger infrastructure and mutual aid. Across the federation, the global commons ensures the most remote Circle can still reach the full power of the network. At every level: abundance flows from contribution, not accumulation. Those who have more, give more; those who need more, receive more — not by bureaucratic formula, but by relationship, trust, and a network that knows its own needs.
This is the destination Voluntary Tithing is walking toward, and it is what makes a commons worth resourcing: over time, nourished by many Circles each giving a first tenth and each drawing what they need, the commons becomes the most capable resource network any of them can reach — not because it is centrally managed, but because it is not.
