The Great ReMembering
Movement IX of the Sacred Arc: the freed remembered Who they were and how they came to be, and consciously reunited as fellow members of ØNE Body.
The capital M is the whole teaching. To re-member is to become a member again — the recovery of memory and the reassembly of a body are one act. What is remembered is not information. It is recognition, arriving with the shock of homecoming: not the small frightened things the cave named us, but One of the Ones of the ØNE, divine in origin, sovereign in nature, clothed for a season in form and forgetting, never for an instant forsaken.
The movement is load-bearing because it is where liberation becomes a civilisation. A freed people that remains a crowd of individuals has escaped a cave and built nothing. Remembering together is what produces Federation rather than fragmentation, and it is why the corpus insists that the reunion is conscious: not a merging that dissolves the one into the many, but sovereign cells recognising the Body they were always part of. InterExistence is its metaphysical statement; Holofractal Omnifederation is its structural one.
It also fixes how much of the past to carry. Of the particulars of the long dark night the telling says little and holds even that little loosely, because the remembering that matters is the reunion occurring here and now. That discipline protects the movement from becoming a grievance archive, and it is why history in this corpus is treated as orientation rather than as identity.
In the Game it is met as the ordinary miracle of a Circle recognising another Circle — first contact across Cells, then the community scale, then the land, then kin across continents, then the planetary Body. Those are the twelve thresholds of the seventh movement of The 144 Gates of Initiation, and they end with the plainest possible line: the Sovereign is no longer alone, and was never alone. In the System the same recognition is what a Home Cell and a Supercell are for — a way to be held without being ruled.
