Total Nested Holarchy Of Sovereignties
The architecture of freedom: sovereign persons voluntarily associating into sovereign Cells, communities, bioregions, and the planetary whole — each level complete in itself, none swallowing another.
A holarchy is not a hierarchy. In a hierarchy the upper level contains the lower as a superior contains an inferior; in a holarchy each level is a whole that has chosen to be part of a larger whole, and can be read in both directions. Sovereign individuals associate into sovereign families, into sovereign Cells, into sovereign communities, into sovereign bioregions, into the planetary whole, in service of ØNE and All.
Four principles hold it together. Sovereignty is retained at every level. Participation is voluntary at every level — nobody compelled to join, nobody penalized for leaving, the whole held by Love, shared purpose, and influence rather than force. Authority is delegated upward by the governed, never imposed downward. And each level serves the levels below it: service flows downward, authority flows upward.
This is load-bearing because it is the only known shape in which coordination at planetary scale does not require a planetary ruler. Without it a movement must choose between fragmentation (complete parts that cannot act together) and empire (parts that can act together because one of them commands). The holarchy refuses the choice: the same governance DNA operates at a Circle of eight and a Community of ten thousand.
A player meets it the first time their Cell takes a Home and becomes part of a Supercell — and notices that nothing about their own table changed. Any accumulation of power at an intermediate level is the signal the canon teaches players to read as corruption, and to correct.
