Sacred Trust
The spiritual and moral bond of responsibility held by those who steward a Domain in service of the Whole.
A sacred trust is what a Mandate feels like from the inside. The mandate is the charge conferred; the trust is the weight a steward carries because of it — toward ØNE, toward the people who gave the charge, and toward those who will inherit whatever is done with it. It is the difference between holding an office and being held by one.
It is load-bearing because structure alone does not protect anything. Terms, rotations, audits, and asset locks are the outer immune system; the inner one is a person who will not do a thing they could get away with. Structural Immunity assumes both. Where the inner bond is absent, the outer instruments become a puzzle to be solved; where it is present, they are rarely needed and still worth keeping.
The canon's frame is fiduciary in the oldest sense: everything held is held on behalf of someone, including the earth, the unborn, and the body's own purpose. That is why the seed's community company seats living systems, future generations, and the Whole at its table — a trust that has no voice is easy to forget.
In play it is felt rather than procedural: the keeper who writes the record honestly on a bad week, the Host who does not quietly extend their own term, the steward who says this is not mine to decide. It has no ritual of its own in the canon; it is named in the Field of Agreements and tested by what happens when no one is watching.
