Energy
The creative field of capacity to effect change in accordance with pattern, will, or design; informed by the Logos.
Energy is held at three scales at once, and the canon's articulation is careful to keep all three. As metaphysical field, all manifestation is the association and dissociation of energy, ordered by Logos in an eternally regenerative process. As physical capacity, it is the measurable ability to do work — the sunlight, food, and flow every organism and civilization runs on, whose regenerative sourcing and just distribution are core work of the new world. As personal resource, it is one third of the daily allowance each Sovereign actually spends: time, attention, and energy.
That third scale is where it becomes operational. TimeEnergy is named as the irreducible currency of embodied existence, and the unit the economy of the new world proposes to count. A player's card records it; it goes nowhere without their word. Which means the metaphysics is not decoration: what a civilization believes energy is determines whether it treats a life's hours as a commons to be harvested or as the one thing a sovereign gives freely.
Associative And Dissociative Energy is the working distinction. Associative energy draws together — parts into wholes, beings into Circles, Circles toward the ØNE Body; it is the vector of Love, Creation, and Healing. Dissociative energy pulls apart, which is not evil in itself — what has completed its season decomposes — but dissociation directed against Right Relationship is named as the operational signature of the inverted pattern. The canon's test is somatic before it is analytic: associative energy enlivens, coheres, and leaves beings free; predatory dissociation diminishes, fragments, and binds.
The canon also insists on epistemic humility here: most of the field remains unilluminated by science, and it is a reality that can be worked with before it is understood, so conceptions of energy are held open rather than closed to current definitions (Current Best Understanding).
