LUV

LIØNSBERG Units of Value — the TimeEnergy- and Value-based unit of co-creation, calculated rather than issued.

LUV is the answer to a plain question: if Value is throughput of The Goal, what unit records that someone produced some? Money cannot, because money tracks what was paid, and enormous amounts of real contribution are never paid for. LUV is proposed as the unit that tracks contribution itself — computed from what a person actually gave, in TimeEnergy, to work their Cell accepted as kept.

Four properties are settled in intent, whatever the arithmetic turns out to be. It is calculated, never typed: no one mints LUV, and no one awards it by decision; it falls out of the record of kept commitments. It rests on Proof-of-contribution, not proof of stake and not proof of work-as-extraction — what you hold reflects what you gave, and contribution once recorded is never retracted. It travels through compressed ratios, so that the gap between the largest and smallest holding inside a federation stays inside a stated bound. And it circulates locally and interoperably: local CurrentSees that move within a Community or a Bioregion, readable across the wider federation and not extractable by distant capital.

The state of it should be said plainly. The principle is held; the ledger is not built. The canon's own pages call the operational features matter for later phases, the currency's design is still expressed as a hypothesis beginning with a simple one-to-ten scale of standing, and the TEA Bank that would calculate LUV carries unreviewed on its face. No Cell needs LUV to play a season. A Cell needs The Offering, a record of what was kept, and Voluntary Tithing at the turning. LUV is what those three grow into if they are kept honestly for long enough, and the name is a reminder of what the unit is meant to be rooted in.
