The 10 Year Grand Strategy
The planetary-scale plan: seven years in which everyone who desires it is invited by someone they trust, and three years more while the last of them are formed.
Ten years, in two parts. The first is the window of crisis and opportunity, during which every human being is invited — not by a broadcast, by a hand; by someone they already know and trust. The second is the three-year lag that follows the last acceptance, because it takes about that long for a person to move from yes to genuinely free, empowered, and self-governing. Add them and the strategy completes about three years after the final cohort joins, whereupon what follows can begin.
It is load-bearing because it is the only plan at this scale that is stated as arithmetic rather than aspiration. The mechanism is propagation: each person carries the Seed to the two or three they know are ready, and the doubling does the rest — three in every hundred is enough to turn a people, and a hundred and forty-four Circles passing faithfully reach a quarter of a billion within nine months. The strategy does not require anyone to build a larger centre; nothing grows by making the centre larger.
In the Game, the whole of the grand strategy that touches a player is one line: carry the Flame to two or three, within a week. Everything else in the plan is that move, repeated, by people who will never meet one another. In the System, it is coupled to a twenty-year contingency because the attempt is unprecedented, and the contingency is actively monitored alongside the critical path so that the transformation completes within a single generation.
Held loosely, as it should be. It is a strategy, not a prophecy, and its own framing notes the human tendency to greatly overestimate what can be done in a short period and greatly underestimate what can be done in a long one.
