Twelve Irreducible Elements
The DNA. Remove any single one and the system fails; hold all twelve and what results is self-governing, self-sustaining, self-replicating, and self-improving.
In the canon's own words: 1 One Purpose Above All — the Purpose governs; leaders serve. 2 Holofractal Omnifederation — complete wholes, organically federated from the bottom up, with every member holding an equal voice in the Whole; each association naturally births a Domain, a Selectively Permeable Membrane, a Field of Agreements, and a Commons. 3 Sovereignty At Every Scale — authority flows from consent, never from command. 4 Democratic Self-Governance Through Shared Agreements and Wise Eldership — one voice per person; the agreements govern. 5 Capital Subordinate To Purpose — capital serves; it never captures. 6 Education As Transformation — form people; people form organizations. 7 Self-Sustenance and Self-Replication — the final step of maturity is planting new seeds. 8 Structural Immunity — explicit protections against the diseases that kill movements. 9 Integrated Delivery — every Circle a node in a planetary production system. 10 Design To The Goal — all design constrained by The Goal, not by budget or politics. 11 Networks of Commitments — reliable promises, made, kept, and learned from. 12 Tightly Coupled Learning and Action — discern, plan, do, check, adjust, at every fractal level.
They are ReMembered rather than made, surfacing across fifteen hundred years, five continents, and every kind of human association — cooperative valleys, indigenous longhouses, communities of shared rule and shared work, open-source commons, recovery rooms, and the production systems that build the largest works on Earth; each a place they were found again, never their source.
The interlock is the point. Without 1, sovereignty fragments into chaos. Without 2, replication produces disconnected fragments. Without 3, federation becomes empire. Without 4, the Purpose is captured by elites. Without 5, the system drifts toward extraction. Without 6, the pattern cannot replicate through people. Without 7, the movement stalls and dies. Without 8, all the above eventually collapse. Without 9, Circles work in isolation. Without 10, local optimization displaces planetary purpose. Without 11, good intentions never become results. Without 12, the system cannot adapt and eventually shatters.
