Prototype

The first integrated embodiment of an Archetype — the whole thing, composed and coherent, maintained as a Kit of Parts and continuously improved by every Instantiation's learnings.

The Prototype is the fourth rung of The Creative Cascade: still "in the cloud," not yet anyone's particular ground, but complete — the parts composed into something that could actually be run. Its distinguishing property is that it is maintained. A design that is published and left alone is a document; a Prototype is a living thing with someone tending the circulation of learning into it.

It is load-bearing because it is how a movement gets better rather than merely bigger. Each Instantiation returns what it had to compromise and why; those lessons embed at the exact point in the Prototype where they were discovered, attached to the part itself, so whoever next takes up that part inherits the wisdom in the instrument. Each subsequent Instantiation receives the aggregated learning of all prior ones. Without a maintained Prototype, every new Cell starts from the founders' memory.

The precision the canon insists on is the indefinite article: a Prototype, not the Prototype. LIØNSBERG Is A Prototype, Not The Eternal Essence states it directly, and the instance law follows — LIØNSBERG as such cannot act or make commitments; it is a pattern and a seed, and what is being started is one instance of it. Anyone may take The Golden Seed and start their own; the pattern is what makes the instances one body. The differentiator claimed is the completeness of the Kit, not exclusivity of the Pattern.

The Prototype is also fractal: each part of a Kit is itself a prototype with its own Ideal, Archetype, Instantiations, and return flow.
