Withdrawal Of Consent

The exit that makes Consent real: the conscious taking back of a yes, in a body one has joined or a system one was born into.

Consent that cannot be withdrawn is not consent; it is a signature on a door that only opens inward. The right to leave is therefore not an afterthought at the end of the Field of Agreements — it is the thing that makes everything before it voluntary. Anyone may leave at any time, in peace; the gate does not close.

It has two faces, and the canon holds both. Inward: leaving a body one belongs to. The Game's form is leaving in order — say so, finish or hand over what you carry, let your lines stay in the record; nothing is erased, and the door back is not locked. Outward: the withdrawal of consent from the old world's systems, which the canon names as the single most powerful act available to an awakening being. That withdrawal is disciplined rather than dramatic: named layer by layer — in spirit, mind, body, action, money — paired with the building of what serves life. The old world is held together by consent; when enough is withdrawn, it dissolves of its own weight.

It is load-bearing for Structural Immunity too. Freedom of exit is what keeps a federation honest: a body that cannot be left has every incentive to stop listening. Where exit is free and costless, listening is the only strategy that works.

In play, a player meets the inward face at The Way Out and the outward face across the whole arc of Liberation and Exodus. Neither is violent; both are public enough to be witnessed.
